Igor Gehenot, a pianist in his early thirties, has gradually carved a reputation for himself as a major talent on the Belgian and European jazz scene. Originally a sideman who was very much in demand, this promising young pianist from Liège has increasingly positioned himself as a leader in recent years. Together with a fantastic, world-class quartet, Igor Gehenot presents his new album at BOZAR, due for release on the prominent Igloo Records label. The quartet’s previous album, Delta, won an award for best Belgian jazz album in 2018.
